Thank you for your interest in learning Spanish. I am originally from Bogota, Colombia, and have been teaching Spanish in the Houston/Galveston area for several years. I am delighted to participate in helping Americans learn the other principal language of our hemisphere. Whether you want to learn Spanish for present or future business or professional reasons, or to open new vistas in your personal life, I'd like to help you.
Our program, developed by the U.S. Government to train diplomats and with a four-decade track record of success, is designed to bring students from beginner status to real proficiency (see chart for proficiency levels) as rapidly as possible. If we
don't have a class that would be suitable for you, I can arrange a program of individual
instruction for you. The fact that the Platiquemos program is accompanied by
extensive audio (six to eight compact disks per level) resources makes it particularly
adaptable to individualized study. Please contact me, and we can work out a
suitable arrangement.
