GOYO EL LECHERO
Goyo the Milkman

La noche había caído sobre Tepexco.  Ya todo estaba en sombras.  Los

Cada noche, al final de la entrega de la leche por las casas, Goyo

---¿Qué más vas a ver mañana, Goyo?   
"What else are you going to see tomorrow, Goyo?"

---Las vacas dan leche y mugen cuando piden su pastura.  
"The cows give milk and moo when they ask for their food."

---Ya no te emborraches.  
"Don't get drunk, now."

---El libro de la escuela y mi maestra dicen que las vacas sólo en los

Pasó un día y otro y luego otro sin que apareciera Goyo

te traje esta botella.  
I brought you this bottle."

---Tequila La Potranca, 100% agave azul.⁽⁹⁾  ¿De dónde la sacaste?  
"La Potranca Tequila, 100% blue agave.  Where did you get it?
¿Es de verdad? 
Is it real?"  

---Pruébala.  Pero, a ver, a mí dame⁽¹⁰⁾ una cerveza.  Quiero demostrarte
"Try it.  But, let's see, give me a beer.  I want to show you
que esta alma mía es la misma de antes.  Vas a ver que ella⁽¹¹⁾
